pisac and stomach buggies

sunday we set up a guided tour of pisac, a peruvian village in the sacred valley. it’s widely known for the expansive market surrounding a pisonay tree that is nearly 400 years old. unfortunately, all three of us were quite sick for our tour. we braved it as best we could, but certainly not the most ideal day to feel the effects of the virus circulating the clinic. pisac is also know for their agricultural terraces which are still used today. they would bring rich soil from the low lands to the top of the mountain which allowed them to produce more food in the thin air. there are still a number of gates standing which were used to protect the site. there were also a number of sacrifices. luckily we were spared.

Sorry you were sick. That’s no fun.

If I can make a suggestion… I’d love to see your photos bigger in the layout. The thumbnails give a great overview, but clicking on each takes a while. Your fans want to see/absorb every detail! :)
